Meet Bashni Reddy, Senior Advisor, Global Strategy, Strategic Market Access

With a career dedicated to bridging evidence generation and payer decision-making, Bashni Reddy brings a global perspective and deep expertise to advance access strategies that improve patient outcomes.
As Senior Advisor, Global Strategy in Strategic Market Access, Bashni Reddy brings the payer and healthcare decision-maker perspective to inform evidence generation strategies and strengthen the clinical and economic value demonstration of client products. Based in the US, she plays a pivotal role in expanding OPEN Health’s capabilities to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions that resonate with decision-makers and improve patient access to innovation.
Before joining OPEN Health, Bashni served as Executive Director at the Center for Drug Policy at Mass General Brigham, where she guided formulary and reimbursement strategies across a major integrated healthcare system. Earlier in her career, she was Director of Clinical Outcomes Research at Abt Associates, leading research that shaped health policy and informed real-world evidence programs.
A distinguished researcher, Bashni has authored more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals, including Pharmacotherapy, PharmacoEconomics, and Critical Pathways in Cardiology. She currently serves on the AMCP Dossier Format Committee and has chaired the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy. Her therapeutic expertise spans oncology, immunology, biosimilars, and rare diseases, areas where she continues to influence value-based healthcare and access strategies globally.
Bashni holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Natal and an MMedSc in Pharmacology from the University of Durban-Westville, both in South Africa. She earned her PharmD from the Albany College of Pharmacy in New York, followed by a joint fellowship in pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research at Hartford Hospital and the University of Connecticut.
