Our Patient Relationship Managers serve as the single point of contact for our Patient Engagers throughout their journey. Why? Because our Patient Engagers have told us that having a single point of contact is important. But it’s more than just that. Our team builds trusted relationships with lasting connections and ensures that our interactions with patients are built with empathy, honesty, and responsibility. And we draw from what we learn to integrate the patient voice more effectively into all programs and communications.

Kristine Lassiter, LCSW
Senior Patient Relationship Manager
Kristine brings over fifteen years of experience working in human services and biotechnology — including a position in patient services — to her role as Senior Patient Relationship Manager. She is passionate about patient centricity and helping individuals tell their stories and share their journeys. In her role, Kristine is the main point of contact for patient and caregiver engagers. She thoughtfully guides them through each interaction and engagement, keeping them informed and making sure they feel heard and understood along the way. Kristine also conducts the pre-program training, helping patients become prepared and confident presenters.
Madi Sames
Patient Relationship Manager
Madi has a background in clinical social work as well as significant experience working in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. She is passionate about working with people living with rare diseases — as her youngest sister lives with a rare neurodegenerative disorder — and helping to provide a platform for their voices to be heard.
