Passionate, team-oriented, collaborative — Dana Dena is all three. In her role as OPEN Health’s Senior Vice President of Client Services for Scientific Communications, she is responsible for overseeing accounts and maintaining a strong partnership with OPEN Health’s existing clients.
Dana has been involved in the medical publications industry since the inception of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP). She began her career journey by attending the first ISMPP webinar led by Bob Norris and subsequently worked alongside him for a significant portion of her career. In 2019, Dana joined OPEN Health, initially as a Senior Account Director, and swiftly climbed the ranks to become Vice President of Client Services and eventually Senior Vice President of Client Services. Dana has been actively engaged in the development of the ISMPP Academy, serving as a committee member for its inaugural launch.
Dana takes pride in her longstanding relationships within the ISMPP community, fostering connections with attendees from both industry and agency backgrounds.
"I truly value the continuity of seeing familiar faces at ISMPP each year as we come together to share our experience working on common goals, particularly regarding compliance, authorship, and publication planning," said Dana.
Outside of work, Dana cherishes spending time with her husband and family, balancing her professional responsibilities with volleyball, dance, soccer, and any other activity that gets added to the agenda.
