OPEN Health is excited to welcome Wenjie Zhang to the team as Senior Director, Modeling & Meta-Analysis (MMA). Wenjie is a senior health economist with 10+ years working in consultancy, academia, and international organizations. She brings hands-on experience in health economic modeling to support payer value communications and health technology appraisal submissions around the globe. Her experience encompasses developing and implementing HEOR strategies as well as the synthesis, generation, and communication of evidence to support the full life cycle of products. In her new role, Wenjie will lead the MMA team in the US, focusing on driving new business opportunities from US domestic clients and projects.
She has worked with a range of life science companies in both US and global markets across a variety of therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, mental health, cardiovascular diseases, women’s health, infectious diseases, and rare diseases. Trained in economics, statistics, and public policy, she has contributed to several health economic modeling projects. Her work has been widely recognized by the research community; she has produced more than 20 publications, conference presentations and abstracts, book chapters and books.
Prior to joining the team, Wenjie worked as a Director at PRECISIONheor. She also worked as a research consultant in the United Nations Development Program and at The World Bank.
