Award-winning cost-effectiveness model and NICE submission

Preparing a specialty product for a crowded US market. Payer and physician research, a price-access modelling tool and an advisory board, distilled into one launch strategy.

Challenge

A highly complex CEM project for a Top 5 pharma client, marked by uncertainty over the value proposition, a shifting landscape, unexpected data cuts, varied affiliate needs, a newly forming cross-functional team, and negative NICE draft guidance.

Solution

We provided patient, flexible project management and pragmatic, on-time SLR delivery, generated extensive MAICs across multiple indications and sensitivity analyses to feed the CEM, supported the modelling and affiliate localisation, and developed content for two UK adboards to secure critical feedback.

Outcome

The work helped reverse the negative NICE draft guidance and won the client’s R&D President’s Award, their highest scientific honour. The NICE committee noted it was the most complex submission they had reviewed.
