A first-in-class therapy in a high-scrutiny category was ready to grow with a significant opportunity to expand confident utilization across newer treatment centers entering the market. To truly activate at the local level, prescribers and practice teams needed operational mastery alongside clinical understanding, built through real-world peer experience rather than traditional training alone.

Solution

OPEN Health designed a targeted preceptorship program placing newer treatment centers inside high-performing peers; learning by doing, not just by listening. Delivered as intimate 2-day immersive experiences across geographically distributed host sites, each program addressed both clinical and operational barriers in small, curated cohorts. The format drove genuine peer dialogue, practical confidence, and immediate real-world applicability for every member of the treatment center team.

Outcome

More than 400 treatment centers applied to attend across three years, reflecting sustained, high demand for this model of localized peer education. Over half of the centers completed the program, with graduates outperforming comparable non-attending centers by 3x in therapy utilization over 26 weeks. 96% of attendees reported greater operational confidence, 98% rated content quality at the highest level, and direct attendee feedback captured a consistent theme: this program accelerated their readiness by months
