Sarah Adasonla is an Associate Consultant in Patient Centered Outcomes & Engagement, located in the London, UK office. She recently received a first-class degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the university of Lincoln and is currently pursuing an LLM in Medical Law and Ethics. She is particularly interested in health policy and patient support.
Her previous work experience includes an internship in healthcare communications, where she got first-hand knowledge and experience in scientific project planning, account management, and medical writing. Sarah will work to support the managing consultants in the seamless delivery of projects.
Claire Ainsworth is a Senior Research Consultant in Modelling and Meta-Analyses, working remotely in the UK. Her experience includes performing network meta-analyses, systematic literature reviews, and retrospective data analysis. She has experience working in a range of therapeutic areas, including dermatology, gastroenterology, oncology, pain/analgesia, psychiatry, and respiratory.
Prior to joining OPEN Health, Claire worked as an Associate Director within the Data Analytics and Design Strategy Team at RTI Health Solutions, undertaking projects involving systematic and strategic literature reviews, network meta-analysis ,global value dossiers, survey development, medical record reviews, and retrospective data analysis. Claire holds an MSc in Statistics with Medical Applications from the University of Sheffield and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Manchester. Her work has led to publications in several peer-review journals, such as Clinical Therapeutics, Value in Health, Journal of Medical Economics, and Expert Review of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, alongside presentations at numerous international conferences.
Myriam Alexander is Senior Scientific Consultant in Real-World Evidence. She contributes to the epidemiological and statistical design of real-world studies, and provides medical writing support for protocols, study reports and scientific communications including poster and manuscripts. She also supports business development opportunities through her involvement in the European Health Data Evidence Network.
Myriam is a qualified epidemiologist, having completed an MPhil and PhD in epidemiology at the University of Cambridge in the Department of Public Health; and also a qualified statistician, with an Msc in statistical sciences and economic administration from the French National School of Statistics (ENSAE).
Myriam joined OPEN Health in 2018. She has over ten years of experience in scientific consulting and has held previous roles at Roche and GSK in their real-world departments.
Angela Alexander is an HR & Team Admin Assistant, located in the Marlow, UK offices. On a daily basis, Angela maintains employee records and also prepares and amends HR documents where necessary. In addition, she supports the team with various tasks such as travel bookings.
Prior to joining OPEN Health, Angela was in high volume hiring for our giant client Amazon. During her tenure at Amazon, she gained knowledge in compliance and good recruitment practices. Angela is a postgraduate of the University of Bedfordshire where she majored in Human Resources. She loves playing badminton and swimming and she takes interest in interior decoration.

Manoharan Andiappan is a Senior Consultant Statistician in Real-World Evidence, located in the London, UK office. He provides statistical support including sample size calculation, development of statistical analysis plans, data analysis and interpretation of data.
Before joining OPEN Health, Manoharan has worked as a Biostatistician at Dental Institute, King's College London. His experience includes power calculation, study design, consultancy on data analysis, statistical analysis of medical data particularly in the field of tropical diseases, psychiatry and Dentistry and Lecturing medical statistics. He has more than 20 years of experience in this field, with special interest in multivariate analysis, multi-level modelling and hypothesis testing. Manoharan holds a Master's degree in Statistics and a PhD in Bioinformatics.
Sarah Annis is Director of Project Management in Real-World Evidence, located in the Marlow, UK office. She has worked with the company since 2019.
Sarah leads the Global Project Management and Site Engagement team. This team have strong and effective working relationships with clients, to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and timelines. The team pride themselves on leadership of cross-functional teams to support efficient and effective project management, ensuring project delivery to required quality standards and of course total client satisfaction.
Sarah has over 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working in a variety of roles and businesses, ranging from medical information, clinical research, medical communications and project management.
Emanuele Arca is an Research Consultant in Strategic Market Access, located in OPEN Health’s Rotterdam office. His main expertise is conducting (systematic) literature reviews to inform network meta-analyses, global value dossiers and reimbursement dossiers. Moreover, Emanuele has experience in conducting stakeholder interviews and health policy impact evaluation.
His background is in European Public Health, he particularly focused on literature reviews in epidemiology and disease burden in EU countries and on EU functioning and policy-making in the field of healthcare. He has been involved in stakeholder analysis projects, where he conducted literature review and stakeholder interviews on the functioning of Public-Private-Partnerships in healthcare. Disease areas he has worked in include inflammatory disease, digestive conditions, oncology, and orphan diseases. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Health Economics, Policy and Law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
Sonika Awasthy is an Associate Director in Strategic Market Access, located in the London, UK office. Sonika has been working in market access consultancy for the last 6 years and joined OPEN Health in 2018.
Sonika has a wealth of experience, providing payer research and market access advice to clients, including pricing and reimbursement strategies, landscape assessments, value message testing, advisory boards, evidence generation planning, reimbursement benchmarking, in-licensing opportunities and pathway tools. Her experience spans a vast range of disease areas from diabetes to oncology and from orphan diseases to biosimilars. With experience from a global payer perspective, more notably EU5 & US across a range of disease areas, Sonika is well-placed to provide expert consulting advice on issues of market access, reimbursement and pricing. Sonika has a Masters in International Health Management from Imperial College London.
Cole Ayasse is an Associate Scientist in Patient-Centered Outcomes & Engagement, located in OPEN Health's Boston, MA office. His expertise includes quantitative research and statistical analysis.
Prior to joining OPEN Health, Cole worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher on collaborative projects between NYU School of Medicine and Brandeis University. Cole’s prior research and publications primarily aimed to understand the discrepancies between speech comprehension outcomes in audiology clinics and in everyday listening. He has worked on a variety of federally funded projects focused on older adults with a mild-to-moderate hearing impairment or on cochlear implant users. Cole earned a PhD in Psychology and MS in Neuroscience from Brandeis University.
Lohit Badgujar is a Consultant in Strategic Market Access, located in the Mumbai, India office. He is an expert in conducting and managing the systematic literature review (SLR), which has been used to develop the HTA submission (NICE, CADTH), indirect treatment comparison (MAIC, NMA), global value dossier, and economic models.
Lohit also contributed to developing cost-effectiveness analysis, budget impact analysis, meta-analysis, and RWE compendium.
Prior to joining OPEN Health, Lohit worked as a Manager, Value & Access, at Novartis, India, where he was supporting Market Access initiatives through evidence development and health economic modeling across the product life cycle. Additionally, Lohit served as a Director, ISPOR Mumbai Chapter from 2015 to 2016, where he was involved in training and educating students from the University of Mumbai and nearby geography. Lohit has presented his work at several international conferences and has publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Lohit holds a Ph.D. (Tech) in Pharmacology from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, and an M. Pharm. in Pharmacology from the Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.
