pH Associates' Scientific Consultants are responsible for the writing of technically accurate, scientific deliverables to meet client and regulatory requirements. Such deliverables include, but are not limited to, study reports, publication manuscripts, abstracts and posters.
Myriam Alexander is joining pH as a scientific consultant, prior to joining pH Associates, Myriam worked as an Data Scientist – Analyst at GlaxoSmithKline (pharmaceutical industry) for 3 years; and as a Postdoctoral research associate in epidemiology at Roche (pharmaceutical industry). In these roles, she managed matrix teams composed of clinical experts, partners from academia and pharmaceutical companies. She was epidemiology, statistician and data analyst lead or team member for several projects in multidatabases cohort studies and routine healthcare records. She completed a MPhil + PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Cambridge, UK in 2013; and an Msc in statistical sciences and economic administration at the ENSAE (French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Administration) in 2006.
Michael Watt is joining pH as an Associate Scientific Consultant. Michael has research experience in academia and the pharmaceutical industry. During his undergraduate degree (BSc/MChem Chemistry), Michael worked at a BioFocus (a pharmaceutical CRO) in the medicinal chemistry department. Most recently before joining pH Associates, Michael worked at AMRI as a Senior Research Scientist on medicinal chemistry projects, synthesising target compounds for biological testing.
Michael holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Bristol, where his research focused on the development of novel, palladium-catalysed chemical reactions. His work has been published in a peer-reviewed journal and has been presented as a poster at national and international conferences.
