OPEN Health partnership with Alexander Devine Children’s hospice

OPEN Health is delighted to announce its CSR partnership with the Alexander Devine Children’s hospice. Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing a dedicated children's hospice service for all children with life limiting and life threatening conditions in Berkshire and the surrounding counties. They work closely with local NHS hospitals to provide families with the right support at the right time, providing respite, palliative care, emotional and practical support.

Alexander Devine has recently opened the first children’s hospice in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, and OPEN Health is delighted to be supporting this charity. We are proud to support local charities, and as part of the OPEN Health Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, we believe it is important to use our talents, skills and resources in ways that can benefit the communities we live and work in.

Since the start of this partnership we have had some productive first meetings with the team at Alexander Devine to discuss some pro-bono projects that we will be working on in the coming months to support the launch of their hospice. We also recently welcomed representatives of the charity to come and speak to the wider teams in our offices about how they could support fundraising and volunteering activities, which was a great success with many future plans being hatched… watch this space!

We will be providing regular updates on our CSR programme including this partnership, through our website. You can also follow what we're up to on Twitter or LinkedIn.
