Open health presents 'the breakfast club'

This morning saw the first ever ‘Breakfast Club’ take place at one of the OPEN Health offices – The Weighbridge in Marlow. The morning consisted of copious amounts of coffee, pastries and chats. The ‘Breakfast Club’ crew huddled in The Weighbridge kitchen; some chose to relax around the American high-school style table with benches, whilst others propped up the kitchen worktops with their story telling and toast. Highlights included Hannah Rose’s DIY hot cheese and ham croissants, Donna McNicol’s book review of ‘Who Moved My Cheese’, Charlotte Dowsett’s spider impression and as ever, Anna James’ quick-wit.

The ‘Breakfast Club’ was the brainchild of Alathea Dudley (Brand Assistant, Accretio), and will take place once a month. The idea was to bring together each of the businesses in The Weighbridge, and encourage individuals to socialise with other OPEN Health colleagues outside their own company.

Not only does this promote collaboration between teams, it also ensures everybody is comfortable within their working environment, by knowing whom they're passing in the office day-to-day.  The choice to run a breakfast club in the morning was to ensure even those with after work commitments, have the opportunity to be involved with the OPEN Health social calendar.
