In August pH Associates were delighted to welcome Emily Boxell as a Project Manager into their Patient Centred Outcomes team.

With nine years experience working in health-related research and service evaluation, Emily has designed and managed qualitative and quantitative research projects from start to finish in numerous disease areas. Emily's work has involved collaboration with multidisciplinary teams from academia, the NHS, and the charity sector. She has published her work in several peer-reviewed publications and presented at conferences. Emily completed an undergraduate BSc degree in Psychology at Warwick University and her Masters and PhD degrees specialised in Health psychology. Emily's post-graduate research focused on experiences in health and social care for people with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and patient- and caregiver-reported outcomes in an investigation of the impact of living with AMD.

In her first few weeks at pH Emily has already met some of our key clients and started work on several new and exciting patient centred projects including a qualitative experience study, a mixed methods study and appraisal and selection of PROMs for a Real World early clinical experience study.
