Researcher/ Research Manager

You will be a success if you:

  • Have prior experience with all or some of the following: qualitative research, quantitative research (including psychometric testing), reports writing, literature reviewing.
  • Have strong project management skills and can multi-task well


As part of the OPEN Health Patient Engagement team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

  • They will lead/ support global project research requirements across a range of projects/clients
  • Be able to work with/ manage third-party suppliers to meet budgets and deadlines.
  • Experienced at designing research materials
  • Analysis & presentation generation & delivery
  • Day to day management to ensure we deliver the highest quality research projects
  • Leading global projects from set up through to presentation delivery
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Proposal writing/ supporting proposal writing


What you’ll bring:

  • A degree or equivalent in research or a related health field.
  • Strong research skills and an understanding of the step by step processes of a research project
  • Knowledge of, and a keen interest in, market research
  • Prior experience working for a market research agency (working in Pharma) in similar role
  • Experience in both patient centric and purely commercial focused research
  • Experienced in Quantitative and Qualitative methodologies (comfortable undertaking face-to-face interviews with patients/carers involving sensitive subjects)
  • Good/ strong presenting skills
  • Ideally have Adhoc project experience
  • Well-developed project management, communication and analytical skills being able to provide actionable recommendations and able to engage with client/ brand teams
  • A genuine passion for patient centric research
  • Excellent project management skills and an ability to deliver on time
  • The ability to work independently on a single, complex project
  • Interest and basic understanding of science and medicine.
  • Interest in creatively and practically solving problems.
  • Proactivity and a solution orientated approach
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise; excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and report writing skills
  • Confident, articulate verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
