Key responsibilities

  • Providing world-class information and support which help to make us one of the best medical communications agencies to work for
    • Set up, manage and drive ongoing communications between the OHMC Senior Leadership Team and our employees, to keep them fully informed about OHMC strategy and news from our leadership and team.
    • Own and drive an ongoing induction and training programme for all our staff
      • Including, for example:
        • Raise awareness of the value of our training with our teams, driving engagement
        • Ensure training is delivered in a timely and consistent manner
        • Measure the value and impact of our training
        • Work with our teams to evolve the programme in line with their changing needs over time
  • Own the development, roll-out and training of new systems and processes across OHMC, as new needs and requirements come up
    • For each process/system
      • Understand the needs of all stakeholders (OHMC teams, legal, finance, HR, etc. as needed)
      • Suggest solutions and discuss with COO
      • Engage stakeholders in the finalisation of the system/process to ensure it meets everyone’s needs and that we have full engagement in the solution
      • Roll out the process including provision of training
      • Monitor its implementation and adapt it as necessary, as needs change
        • Examples of possible systems/processes include: freelance needs review, freelance contracting, supplier engagement and payment, client timeline tools, client feedback surveys
  • Monitor the implementation of existing systems and processes and adapt them as necessary
    • Examples of possible systems/processes include: GDPR implementation, conflict of interest monitoring and management
  • In 2019, support our transition to a new IT provider, working with IT and all of our teams as necessary to ensure a smooth migration
  • Suggest new ways to engage our teams and to improve efficiencies to continue to help drive the success of OHMC


Required experience and qualifications / Essential skills:

  • Previous communications agency experience
  • Good IT literacy and the ability to learn new platforms and how to get the most from them
  • Strong project management skills

Location

The Georgian market town of Marlow sits on the River Thames, among meadows and woodlands. The town centre features boutique shops, cafes and bistros and Michelin-starred restaurants all within a few minutes’ walk of the OPEN Health offices.
