About OPEN Health’s Omnichannel team
OPEN Health are creating a new team within the Communications practice to focus on delivering the strategy and tactics for Multichannel, Omnichannel and novel technology marketing campaigns.
Drawing on the existing experience of our medical communications, advertising, public relations and digital delivery teams, the Omnichannel team is well-supported to develop end-to-end Omnichannel campaigns, which deliver the optimal outcomes for our clients and the best-possible content for their audiences.
As Omnichannel marketing is a fast-moving and growing area, the team is always on the lookout for talented individuals with the drive to excite and delight our clients through the use of digital technologies and new solutions.
You will be given the opportunity to contribute to the development and shape of this new Omnichannel team, working in a variety of therapy areas and with a number of different divisions.

As part of the Omnichannel team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:
- Full ownership of the omnichannel programme for each client, ranging from strategic input to day-to-day management of tactics (based on the specific needs for each account)
- Ensure optimal financial management of each account and demonstrate a clear understanding of all financial processes within the business
- Monitor forecast and plan in conjunction with Account Managers and Account Executives to ensure business objectives are met, on time and within budget. Ensure the Client Services Director/GAD is kept up to date with all relevant information and manage financial issues promptly
- Thorough understanding of the clients’ business objectives, product strategy and relevant therapeutic area. Clear communication of this to all internal team members, as relevant
- In-depth understanding of the relevant ABPI and NICE policies and processes in the UK and equivalent across Europe and processes that impact digital or Omnichannel
- Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working relationships, as well as working proactively to identify new business opportunities by networking and researching within existing client companies
- Highlight key issues to the Client Services Director/GAD regarding key accounts and the account team, as appropriate
- Lead pitches
- Ensure understanding and implementation of OPEN Health internal procedures and quality standards across all account team members
- Ensure all account team members take ownership of their business and appropriate levels of responsibility
- Coordinate effectively and efficiently with appropriate members of the OPEN Health teams
- Support the development and training of Account Executives, Account Managers and Senior Account Managers
- Line management responsibility, where appropriate
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of omnichannel pharmaceutical marketing and technologies that support this
- Ability to work with client and agency staff on a day to day project management basis both independently and as part of the team
- Pro-actively apply thorough understanding of the client’s therapeutic area and ability to provide strategic input
- Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and target audience gained through significant experience in a healthcare agency or pharmaceutical company role
- Approachable hands-on manager, trainer and delegator with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- Financial acumen
- The ability to distil complex information and produce simple, compelling briefs
