As part of the OPEN Health Evidence & Access (E&A) team, you’ll be responsible for the following:

Development and management of the operational processes, support systems, finance procedures and administrative activities that facilitate the effective running of the four ‘Centres of Excellence (CoE) in the newly formed Evidence & Access team.

Global Operations

  • Support to improve processes across E&A, including development and implementation of innovative and efficient operational systems/ways of working
  • To be a champion for, and assist with, the implementation of new initiatives from the OH Central teams e.g. IT, legal, data privacy, health and safety
  • Primary point of contact for queries from Central Operations, HR and Finance processing teams
  • Oversight of consistent E&A practice in global systems (e.g. distribution list structure, naming conventions etc)
  • Work closely with CoE leads/senior team to prepare for, and implement new global ‘enterprise resource planning system’
  • Ensure timesheet consistency across E&A globally through the implementation of processes and training


  • Management of UK E&A team new starter paperwork, system set up requests (IT/equipment etc) and inductions
  • Support UK E&A Line Managers with the integration of new starters, as required


  • Support Central Operations team and RWE Workflow Manager with supplier set-up, PO process and maintenance of supplier trackers (initially UK-only but to be rolled out to global team)

UK Administrative support

  • Travel bookings for E&A team, as appropriate
  • Conference registrations & assistance with conference logistics
  • CoE meeting support; agendas, slide/presentation material development, noting and circulating actions and venue bookings, where appropriate
  • Purchase of journals/articles for project teams, training courses etc
  • Assisting team with ongoing subscriptions/memberships to professional associations and platforms to ensure these are managed and contracted in an efficient and cost-effective way
  • Ad hoc day-to-day administrative support to the senior team, as required
