You will be a success if you:

  • Identify areas for digital development using social media communication strategies within existing accounts and new business opportunities
  • Support digital new business and deliverables through the inclusion of social media listening and communication plans
  • Are pro-active with a desire to exceed expectations for internal and external clients
  • Are able to add value to current client deliverables though your understanding of social media and digital technologies

As part of the OPEN Health Digital Communications team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

  • Support the communications practice account teams to identify areas of their existing business where social media can enhance or improve current offerings
  • Support the digital comms directors to create digital communications plans, budgets and briefing materials
  • Up-skill team members in digital competencies including social media and multichannel marketing
  • To work alongside the digital comms directors and account handling teams to scope digital communications plans and ensure these are budgeted accurately
  • Support the development of proposals that contain social media listening
  • Review social media communications plans to ensure they have been approached in a compliant manner
  • Produce case studies, slide decks, and other materials around social media experience within OPEN Health
  • Work with the digital teams in OPEN Health to evaluate new technologies as they become available and assess how these may be applicable to communication deliverables or client projects

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 1 years’ experience of managing social media projects within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in working for an agency in one or more of the following disciplines
    • Medical communications
    • Healthcare advertising
    • Healthcare PR
    • Healthcare marketing
  • Qualification in digital marketing preferred but not essential; providing expertise in the scoping, development and delivery of digital projects, demonstrated by suitable qualification such as IDM or CIM diploma or higher
  • Experience of the development and execution of social media tactics for healthcare professionals and/or patients
  • Experience in multichannel marketing strategy/tactical planning preferred
