As part of the RWE Data team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

You will be part of a team of dynamic and talented analysts. The team are responsible for the analysis of both primary data collection (e.g. chart review, physician surveys) and secondary data (e.g. electronic medical records, health claims, registries). You will contribute to UK and Global assignments and studies, the complexity ranging from basic analyses and problem-solving through to advanced analytics, to solve challenging research questions working across multiple therapy areas.

  • Assisting in the development of data collection materials and data collation tools to support subsequent data analysis and reporting
  • Undertake data analysis and advanced methodologies
  • Assist with wider presentation and dissemination of evidence, supporting the drafting of abstracts, posters and manuscripts
  • Supporting the development of project protocols
  • Attend client and investigator meetings to discuss data and present results

What you’ll bring:


  • Experience in using a statistical package e.g., STATA, R or SAS
  • Advanced IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good statistical knowledge
  • Experience in healthcare data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in presenting data in a variety of formats, appropriate to different audiences e.g. reports, presentations
  • Fluent written and spoken English


  • Experience of working in healthcare, either in the NHS, a CRO, Pharma industry or academia
  • SQL knowledge is highly desirable
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record in life sciences, economics, mathematics or statistics or experience in the NHS or life science industry
  • Experience in working with health-related information systems and national healthcare data-sets such as HES, CPRD, national registries is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of common data models like OHDSI or OMOP
  • (Good) knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology
