As part of the OPEN VIE team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

  • Central finance
  • Adhoc support to the MA
  • Support the MA with the accounting side of business development
  • Lead and support with many parts of the month end process
  • Support with agreeing final revenues
  • Review nominal ledger at month end for accurate coding and ensure postings are correct
  • Prepare and post monthly journals e.g. prepayments, accruals and interco recharges
  • Monthly review of debtor and creditor balances including deferred and accrued income
  • Review reporting packs for accuracy
  • Reconcile all supporting information on B/S and P/L
  • Support the MA with updating internal group reporting through TM1
  • Maintain fixed asset registers
  • Prepare year end tax packs
  • Support the MA through the external audit process
  • Monitor finance inboxes
  • Support with P&L budget management
  • Client facing team support
  • Assist with adhoc queries from non financial team members
  • Input and maintain projects in revenue trackers
  • Assist in maintenance of revenue trackers including FX calculations, reconciliations to DV and code closures
  • Preparation of job cost/billing reconciliations for project owners as needed
  • Assist the project teams with invoicing
  • Assist the project teams in responding to requests for spend to date, invoicing changes and financial status updates
  • Respond to transfer of value information requests
  • Assist with finance training to new team members
  • Provide any other support as required to the SFM and MA

What you’ll bring:

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA – study package to support) with determination and drive to sit regular exams
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work quickly to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail (essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the business including outside of finance
  • Strong bookkeeping skills
