The OPEN Health Policy on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business.
Our current values and Our Ethical Business Conduct Policy are aligned with and support the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights as well as the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. These laws and Codes impose moral obligations on our employees to help us uphold the International Bill of Human Rights as well as the core conventions of the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
We have a third-party managed whistleblowing helpline in place throughout the business to which all employees have access if they feel they cannot raise their concerns internally. Our helpline provides a secure way for employees to report any concerns or suspected cases of misconduct, including suspicions of forced labour or trafficking activities. The helpline number is communicated to employees through the induction process and the Group intranet.
We have implemented supplier due diligence as part of our quality management system which is being implemented this year and our employees acknowledge and support our Ethical Business Conduct Policies. In the following year, we will work on enhancing our Supplier required codes of conduct as part of our ongoing compliance and quality standards program including our full policy on Slavery and Human Trafficking. This is aimed at ensuring no slavery or human trafficking takes place in any part of the OPEN Health business or in our supply chain.
Supplier Adherence to our Values
We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking and expect all aspects of our supply chain to comply with this approach. OPEN Health will not use any supplier entity knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.
All employees are provided with an induction programme when they join the company which includes HR, Compliance and Legal policies and procedures.
